Alden Sabio: Feed them plant food,make sure they are not getting to much sun or water.Maybe the soil isn't good enough for them.check carefully,they might have root rot or something may be eating it's roots. make sure there are no chemicals in the soil.look after them really carefully when they're young,it will help them grow big and strong when they are older.once they are about 2 yrs old u can worry about them less and get on with life.good luck saving the planet!...Show more
Madge Voice: most plants will have care directions on their tags but in general don't water them too much as this can kill them.Different herbs like differnt conditons but the open sunny spot sounds like a great start. As a rule if the soil is cool to the touch then it is still holding enough water for your plants.Your pots should have soil that allows the water to drain through rather easily as well cause this helps the roots grow healthy. Kris Otuafi: Most plant starts people buy are already too big for their pots. My advice is to transplant them to larger pots or into the ground as soon as possible. Good sized pots should lead to significant improvement. It is possible that you might have watered too much. Every day is a lot for some plants, and this may have been the problem with the cilantro. Depending on heat and pot size, most plants need water every 2-3 days in hot weather/small pots. Water when the surface soil is dry. Cilantro likes cool weather so if it is still really hot where you live, try putting where it gets some shade to keep it cool. Many times people buy plant starts that have overgrown their pots and been overly fertilized and then blame themselves when the plants start to look bad or die. My advice for future plant purchases is to only buy healthy looking plants that you can transplant into a bigger pot ! that same day....Show more
