What types of beers are NOT highly hopped beers?

Cuc Gire: any cheap beer

Melina Minneweather: There are several types of beer that can be used for this recipe. I personally would use a stout like Guinness or a Brown Ale like New Castle which have a high Malt to Hop ratio. Avoid using Pale Ales or IPA's which use a considerable amount of Hops in the brewing process.

Gladys Worthing: Like Rosie-doll-too, I would probably use a Porter or Stout because they are delicious.

Krystal Cordovano: Dont use anything that is an IPA, or Boston Lager. Heffe beers (german wheat beer) has very little hops. try a good lager or for rolls I'd actually use a porter or stout, their sweetness will come out. yummmm

Son Ahlers: Avoid Pale Ale's, IPA's, Bitter. Those are overhopped beers. Ales are hopped more than lagers and pillsners. An American Pillsner or Lager is probably your best choice. Think of it this way. The more bitter the beer, the more hopps it contains.

Antonia Mogg: If you rea! lly want to get into it, several books have beer style tables. If not, fruit beers, wheat beers, brown and Scotch ales, and bocks are quite lightly hopped. The taste is "malty", sweet, rather than bitter.
