Sibyl Siwik: There are many large companies that started out small. Look at Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, even Ford started out small. Once of the most technologically advanced cars on the road today is made by Tesla; a small business. If you look at the innovation in the Tesla cars, I don't see how you could say small businesses don't have the ability to innovate.

Joel Feagler: @Blake U R sadly mistaken. No, the U2 spy plane wasn't invented in someone's backyard. The CERN cyclotron isn't a tube put together for a couple grand, and most sci research DOES REQUIRE big expensive equip that no small group could afford. Your ignorance doesnt make U right.
