Theater Classes?

Jonathon Labonne: No, you are not too old to start.I'd add to the above that you should try out for community theater. The talent in acting and directing is usually of a lower standard, but it's a place to try it if you've never tried it before.I suggest reading "A Practical Handbook for the Actor". It's a really fine book on acting. Practicing the ideas in this book, coupled with a number of ventures in community theater, will hopefully connect you to people who can take you further....Show more

Gaston Edgcomb: Am I too old to start?

James Langmyer: Call around to local theatre companies and see if they offer classes. You can also do a google search for "theatre classes in So Cal," which actually often comes up with alot.Community colleges will often let you take their theatre classes for no credit, too. They will cost, but not as much as a credit class would.
