Question about genealogy testing for ancestry !!! (please help!)?

Davina David: Think you are confusing medical testing and the so called ancestry testing.............. this is genealogy which is researching ancestry via cited written records, it is nothing to do with genetics which DNA is, so science/biology or search online for genetic testing............................................

Elsie Resner: The tests that is used for determine if someone has a predestination for a particular medical condition and genealogical DNA! are not the same.As far as where the testing is done, in Texas or any other state has nothing to do with Genealogy, you could look it up in a phone book I assume. The cost of DNA testing varies. I have seen it run from $199 to almost $500 depending on which test is being given.
